Heavens to Betsy werd begin jaren negentig gevormd door zanger/gitarist Corin Tucker (foto) en drummer Tracy Sawyer. Het duo, voorlopers van de riot grrrl stroming, bracht één album uit: Calculated (1994). Daarop is het nummer My Red Self dat Tucker schreef niet te horen. Op YouTube is één opname te vinden: vol ruis en gekraak. De papieren versie staat gelukkig als een huis.
